They make it to the New World, but find a horror there that none of them expected. Salt and the Sea Venture is Juvenile Historical Fiction, written for ages 8-12. It also includes a non-fiction section. Facts are provided about the historical figures, the workings of 17th century sailing ships, the society of the time, and the flora and fauna they encountered.
