    Ryan Roberts

eBook (Tytot (Ghost), Oct. 18, 2012)
Daisy Spangler is the most talented soccer player in Japonica Falls or any of the suburbs around it, but playing the game that could shape her future is not her favorite thing to do. That honor would go to spending time with her best friend, Tristan Holcombe, who lives in the only one-story house in the entire neighborhood, and spends warm evenings skateboarding around, getting lost in his fantastic imagination, taking Daisy with him. Together, they've made an unspoken pact to always help one another out like best friends should, and a spoken one to someday go searching for a mythical ibex, long rumored to be living in a nearby, abandoned quarry. As the summer fades and problems arise, however, these promises take on new urgency, bringing the two of them face to face with the disappointment that comes as a part of growing up, and forcing them to face new ways of dealing with it. The mysterious, electrical force of something called El Sidney could be the key.
