  • I Love to Show My Horse: My Show Results Journal

    Mary Jean Simpson

Paperback (CreateSpace Independent Publishing Platform, Jan. 27, 2018)
Showing horses gets into your blood! Each person has his or her own reasons for loving to show horses. The thrill of competition and riding in a show is exciting. But the real love of showing is not all about winning. Going in with the mindset that you want to have fun and learn something—regardless of the outcome--will most likely make the show a positive experience for you and your horse. Your horse is totally dependent upon you. At the same time, you have a partnership in which you are the leader. Your horse is happiest being with you. If you are showing, then you undoubtedly have a horse who loves the sport. The love you share, the trust you place in each other, the companionship, the teamwork required of both of you: those are the important things, the things that are of true value. This is the reason that I have created this journal. Yes, it’s fun to win. It’s a great feeling to go home with a ribbon or trophy. But the real value of showing comes when you and your horse are there to learn and improve. No matter how long you ride and show, you will never be finished learning. This journal is designed to assist you in recording important information about the events you have shown in. Each entry consists of two pages upon which you can enter the show, date, location, type of event, your evaluation of your performance, your overall experience, notes on anything you wish work to improve, and results of the event.

  • Poetry of the Bible for Young Angels: Genesis 1: easy to read poems, you can draw too!

    Gary E Simpson

    language (, Sept. 3, 2018)
A set of poems for young readers or mummy and daddy can read to your young Angels. Each poem is a chapter from the Bible. Every few weeks I will upload the next chapter. I would like all Angels reading to draw what you see when reading the poems on the blank page next to it. I will be setting up a website gallery for all drawings to be posted too so you can see your picture online. I hope to have the website as soon as I can but will be depending on how well these booklets sell, God Willing. For Mummies and Daddies, I am a new poet and felt inspired to write Biblical poems, I hope they are good as writing poetry is new to me. I use the form 'Pantoum' as I feel it is short and sweet and for the young Angels out there easier to read and see Heavenly images. Maybe your Angel(s) may have a Heavenly gift in art.I will be publishing in book format in the future, your child can then draw direct in the booklet. Keep checking my book page on Amazon for any updates of a paper back booklet and also the website.I hope you all like the poems which start with Genesis 1. God Bless you all, in Jesus's name, Gary.Ps: I wanted to sell these cheaper but the minimum is price allowed is 99p. However I will be donating at least 10% to church outreaches/charities (worldwide) I am also dyslexic.
