Faith and Free Throws: 7 Days to Improve Your Game and Your Life launches our official book release debut. It is a multi purpose user-friendly book that harmoniously illustrates succinct comparisons between the fundamental art of shooting a free throw in the game of basketball; by simply utilizing our God given attributes; which were provided by God since the Creation of our world(s), both visible and invisible. Namely, our faith, hope, imagination, and confidence as they relate to your personal spiritual growth. An insightful study of the Holy Bible creatively illustrated through our author’s sincere love for both the infallible word of God as well as his great love for the game of basketball. The common denominator is love. Coincidentally, according to Scripture, The greatest Commandment for God is Love God with all your might and to Love thy neighbor. Additionally, The Bible when pertaining to the subject of spiritual gifts clearly identifies Love as the greatest spiritual gift. “And now abideth faith, hope, charity, these three; but the greatest of these is charity.” (1 Corinthians 13:13) We will examine issues pertaining to leadership, fellowship, and stewardship as it relates to our analogy of shooting a basketball in a hoop. Other topics include but are not limited to Christian discipline, the renovation of the heart and mind, hope and imagination, the faithful steward’s responsibility to live in physically healthy body, and our attempt to introduce spiritual parallels and how they relate to achieving our goals and good success shooting the basketball consistently with accuracy, proficiency, and all in accordance to His blessed assurance. Ultimately, it is a personal ministry that we hope will compel a new and millennial audience of readers to READ YOUR BIBLE. In conclusion, Author, Life Coach, Publisher, Community Activist; J.L. Jefferson claims this book as a personal testimony of his calling to the Ministry of Reconciliation.
