This is a book to be read aloud to under 5 year olds. I wrote it because I was reading a lot of similar things to my children. It has a message but I chose the theme because I wanted a twist and my children loved monsters and things that were yucky. I wrote it to appeal to the kind of parent or child that enjoys the gruffalo or the Very Hungry Caterpillar.
