  • Elizabeth, Larry and Ed

    marilyn Sadler, Roger Bollen

    eBook
In this sequel to Elizabeth and Larry, the plucky older lady (Elizabeth) and sweetheart of an alligator (Larry) settle in Florida between a swamp and a golf course. Enter Ed, a swamp creature and sponger who takes advantage of Elizabeth's soft heart and moves in, much to Larry's displeasure. In the end, Ed's mother turns up and takes him home. A very amusing story. The good-natured satire of retirement life by the golf course seems most appropriate. One of the funniest is of Ed's mother with her frizzed hair, earrings, and saggy neck.
