Through the wonderful illustrations and sensitve story line the reader learns of the scenarios and experiences 'Andre' has as he witnesses the inevitable changes having a new baby in the family brings. The book differs from other new baby stories, by sharing very specifically some sensory and social experiences and helpful strategies. A delightful example is of Andre listening to his own comforting music on his head phones to help him cope with the noise in the clinic waiting room.
