    Margaret Lesh

Paperback (CreateSpace Independent Publishing Platform, Oct. 1, 2016)
My friends are all strange. Right now I'm living at Brookside, a place for people like me. I've met a kitty girl, a brooding beautiful boy, one who can't be touched, and others. My new friends. Strange people. People like me. I've always been different, but lately, more so. My hands sometimes don't seem to be attached to the rest of me. I cut up all of my clothes. I'm hot, so hot, all of the time. If I sleep, a wizard haunts every dream. I don't sleep. Sometimes I want to run, but where do you run to when you're trying to escape your own mind? I don't know if I'll ever be the same. I'm smart. I'm nice, sometimes. I just want to be normal(ish). But, right now, my friends are all strange... Like me. Dark, funny, snarky, seventeen-year-old Becca struggles to cope with mental illness in MY FRIENDS ARE ALL STRANGE, the gripping contemporary young adult companion novel to NORMALISH.

  • The Fountain in the Garden

    Margaret M. Lin

Paperback (Independently published, Aug. 15, 2017)
It just looks like an old fountain in a garden, nothing remarkable, half-hidden behind stone walls and a grove of trees. But twelve-year-old Cadence soon discovers that it’s remarkably, impossibly difficult to reach. And she also comes to find that she’s not the only one trying to get to it. What starts out as a pretty ordinary, lonely summer vacation, when Cadence goes to stay with the mysterious Mrs. Brier, quickly turns into a rather extraordinary quest. And, along the way, Cadence makes new friends – and enemies - in an adventure that leads her inexorably to the fountain in the garden, to legends, magic, and things well beyond imagining.
  • Wood's Book Of Wonders: 5th Graders Can Write!

    Margaret Lawing

Paperback (Chalfant Eckert Publishing, May 14, 2015)
This book is a pilot project between Wood Elementary School at Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri, and Chalfant Eckert Publishing. It was born of the desire of one writing teacher, Mrs. Margaret Lawing, who wanted her three classes of English and Language Arts students to discover a love of writing. Most fifth grade students need a reason to write (except for passing notes, of course!), and Mrs. Lawing discovered a way to gain their attention and motivate them to become published authors. This book is the result of those efforts. Profits go to the Year Book Club for the school.
