You all met them this past Christmas, in Book One, called "An Inner City Christmas Tale." This time we get to know a bit more about the five coolest kids in South West Philadelphia. Volume Two is loaded with the crazy antics of Desmond and Ron, and of course Harry, the youngest of the bunch, adding his own aggravating but hysterical curves into the mix. Stephanie and Marsha are still a step ahead of the guys and keep them in check by cleverly side stepping whatever the boys come up with. "Dropkicked By Love." is filled with laughter and teenage innocence. The five straight "A" kids from a working class neighborhood of Philadelphia will not let you down when it comes to good clean fun, where nothing from the socially unacceptable genre gets equal time. The don't need it. They don't want it. And, above all they are living their lives on their terms, with out influences from anything that disrupts their values that they hold so high such as morals, self respect, unconditional love for each other and those they interact with. They're too cool to be square, they're too witty and clever to be fooled, and they will sacrifice everything for that education. In other words, they use the brains that GOD gave them to they're fullest capacities. They want and demand the best out of themselves and each other. They found it easy to maintain with this simple skill that's at their beckon call. The kids are focused on the good things life can offer to inner city youth. They find it in each other. While you're enjoying "Dropkicked by Love", may I recommend a Philly Cheese Steak or an Italian Hoagie?
