Kerry can't convince Hayley and Jordan to turn back, so eventually they just manage to take shelter in the cave. They share their yearly ritual, with stories of the past and their hopes and dreams for the future. They try to head back to the ski-hire, but lose their way again, only just managing to find their way back to the cave. Trapped and freezing, they await rescue.
