Although there are many books that are written about slavery, and I have heard some people express that they don't want to hear anything about that subject. The author of this book feels that there are still some that needs to read this book, as well as other material and books about this subject. Especially the younger generations. Some people think that Slavery ended under President Abraham Lincoln. After Lincoln, there was a new form of slavery. Some slavery ended about 55 years ago, but there are new forms of slavery going on in this country. It is done in a different way. There are no jobs for black males. The correctional institutions are full of young males. Blacks are slaves to drugs and alcohol. When are black people going to wake up and think "I have been a slave long enough"? -------- These words are from the Author.
