  • Maxie's Day at the Beach

    MARY LOUISE

    language (, June 21, 2019)
Being prepared for the Beach...a lesson for children! This story is about Maxie Scruff, who is a curious little Scruffutoe. He lives with his mother, father and older sister, Pixie, inside someone's shoe closet. Their home is inside a forgotten boot, at the very back of the closet. Maxie's adventure is about curiosity, discovery and danger, as he finds himself accidentally carried off to the beach in a beach bag. As he explores the beach, he comes across a hungry seagull and an enormous crab, both wanting to make him their next meal! Can Maxie escape from both these creatures and get back to the safety of the beach bag before its owner takes it away? What were the items that Maxie found in the beach bag, and why were they in there?BE THE FIRST TO INTRODUCE 'SCRUFFUTOES' to your children! They will love these unique little characters, who are tiny enough to live in shoes. They make themselves invisible to humans, but are visible to all other living things. They are mischievous and adventurous, and you will delight in watching them as they venture into a world of imagination, fun, danger, and discovery, meeting unusual creatures along the way! Scruffutoes are less than a few centimetres tall, covered in blue hair when they are happy...which turns bright green when they are not! Then they emit the most disgusting β€˜stink’ which can send other creatures running for fresh air! But what happens if their 'stink' doesn't save them?
