The short stories included in this book are all true accounts of incidents in the life of the author when God supernaturally intervened in her life or responded to her prayer. While some people may believe that it is not possible to have a personal relationship with God, the true-life incidents recorded in this book prove otherwise.These incidents and situations described could not have been coincidence, nor could they have occurred in the natural order of things. Linda holds a Masters Degree from the Ohio State University, and has attended the Foursquare Gospel Bible College in Mt. Vernon, Ohio. She served in the ministry with her husband for six years, planting a Church in Prairie du Chien, WI. She taught in the public schools for 28 years in Ohio and in Florida before retiring.She is also the author of “What Kids Did Before TV” a collection of short stories based on true events from her childhood and “Street Boy”, a fictional story about an eight-year old who lives on the Street with his mother. Linda enjoys teaching the adult class at her Church in Belleview. She is retired and lives with her granddaughter.

Growing up in the late 1940s and early 1950s in a small town in West Virginia, before the advent of TV, the author and her brothers were left alone to amuse themselves throughout the day. She and the gang of kids in the neighborhood came up with some very unique activities and pranks without close adult supervision. Based on these true events from her childhood, the short stories in his book give an account of the things these kids actually did. They did not have TV to distract them. She marvels today that she and her brothers grew up to become respectable adults. She hopes that the Statute of Limitations has expired in the fifty years since these acts were perpetrated even though they were just good, clean fun at the time.As she remembers some of the events of her childhood, she is thankful that she was given the freedom to roam about town as she chose during the day with little adult supervision. The events described in this book are a result of that freedom.
