(E.P. Dutton and Company, inc, July 6, 1943)
Glory Be opens with Penny's eighteenth birthday party, followed by a shopping trip into New York with Carrol on the Saturday before Pearl Harbor. With that catastrophe changes come thick and fast to both the Parrish and Houghton families, and suddenly tragedy descends upon two of the most beloved of the happy group.
