  • Come What May

    O. L. Gregory

    (Independently published, July 28, 2018)
When your world crumbles twice in a month, and you put yourself back together with duct tape and glue, things are never going to run smooth. At seventeen, Georgie's life fell apart the night her parents both died in an auto accident. She has family to help her sort everything out, but in the midst of the paperwork, a family secret comes to light. Georgie's parents never told her she was adopted. This news flips her already devastated world upside down, and she's left to pick up the pieces of a life and identity that she no longer feels a connection with. Given some time to heal and accept what has happened, curiosity gets the better of her, leading Georgie to seek out her birth-parents in secret. Wanting to establish a connection, yet wanting to take baby steps, she sets off on a quest to meet them. Establishing a relationship with them is easy. The problem is, she neglected to tell them who she is. Georgie's in it up to her eyeballs as a few people around her begin to put it all together, but she's determined to stay the course and connect to her birth-parents in her own way, come what may. A story of loss, deception, discovery, and moving forward in the most unlikely of ways.

  • The Shenanigans Of Aussie Hooligans

    Lauren Gregory

    (Independently published, June 14, 2018)
This book is a collection of hilarious short stories and fair dinkum biographical accounts, all from the perspective of various Generation Y "Hooligans". It includes stories taken from my comedy stand-up and some other tales of adventure from people in my life. I did comedy stand up down at the Dancing Dog Café in Footscray and used most of that material for this book. I was shit-scared doing stand up comedy. I’d smash a couple of pints before getting up on stage but my hands would still be shaking with nerves by the time I got up there. Furthermore, a lot of the stories in this book are actually true.
