Catherine Winchester is clairvoyant. She can see the future in her dreams, and her dreams always come true. Recently, Catherine has been having the same dream: of a stranger who would not tell her his name. This handsome stranger assaults her nights, bringing her delights and pleasures, saving her from the dangers of the Amazonian forest she always finds herself in. He knows everything about her, but she knows nothing about him.Jake is Catherine’s ex-husband.He is a persuasive but mentally unstable man who won custody of the children from his marriage to Catherine because he was able to ‘prove’ that Catherine’s ‘clairvoyance’ was a mental disorder that impaired her ability to take care of her children. Jake Is currently on the brink of a fresh divorce with his new wife, Vanessa, and he comes to Catherine once more, to see if he can spark things up again with her. He is met by the presence of Xavier, whom he dislikes instantly.Xavier is the stranger from the dream.He comes to Catherine’s rescue in an unlikely event at a deli across where she works, and she instantly recognizes him as the man from her dreams. Xavier plays his cards in wooing her, because she catches his eye. However, Xavier is new to town, and he carries with him a dark secret. A secret that will change everything.Catherine is scared.Someone is stalking her, but she doesn’t know who it is. She is also worried that her dreams may mean more than they appear to be. She is also terrified at the possibility that Xavier may not be what he seems.Two men, one woman and one dream. In this story, everything is hinged on Catherine’s dreams, which she is slowly coming to get wary of. She is torn between two men: one, her ex-husband with a history of wife battery, and Xavier, the handsome stranger who probably has skeletons in his closet.
