Everyone needs a vacation, and God is no exception. However the Big G had been on his well deserved vacation for just one day leaving Angelo in charge when God’s nemesis Nick (more commonly known as the Devil), had already managed to sneak practically unnoticed into Heaven. He was helped by an unusual diversion thanks to his sidekick Dufus, morphing into a 100 foot kitten!Nick's plan was simple, find his son Angelo, wager a bet with him, sneak back out of the place and then sit back and watch the fun and fireworks begin. Nick was confident that he would easily win his bet and in doing so, would win his sons back to rule Heaven and Hell and Armageddon would begin for all humans. The Devil’s Bet could be the making of Nick or his second biggest if not worst downfall. Would Angelo agree to the bet? What would the wager be? There would be consequences for sure. Could Nick win the bet and save Heaven from its worst crisis in living memory? or would Angelo end up contributing to an apocalypse of unprecedented proportions? What would the Big G think when he gets back from the vacay? After all the Big G had gone on a working holiday to try and sort out a solution for the worst crisis Heaven was dealing with since the business began! A soul shortage, and time was running out for all new humans being born on the planet earth. His business was crumbling and drastic actions had to be taken, hence his first ever holiday away from heaven. However with the Big G away on holiday, Nick was about to try his best chance yet to turn his fortune around and defeat the Big G once and for all.Would good prevail or would evil take over and with it the end of life as we know it...So many questions, so many different endings, only time will tell who will win, and if Angelo wins, his reward, the saviour of human life as we all know it. However, if he loses, Armageddon will soon be upon us all...This book is split into two with the first half introducing the reader to a myriad of events that lead onto part two which will be published later this year.
