An original picture book about redemption and renewal. This work was inspired by multicultural influences of other works that have inspired me: henshin heroes, Latin-American folk art, comic books, tall tales, anime and more. This tale is a myth about the origin of the stars and constellations. Supereagle Thunderbird has been given new life by the magic Thunderbolt. He and the other Beast Kings created the great weapon city Xibalba and sought to rule the heavens. They were cast down and scattered to the ages. How can this henshin hero and the dark lady of magic, known as Chai, atone for the chaos of their past deeds?A new kind of hero will be born; created from the ancient enemies of men. Witness the spectacular birth of the Overwinning. Supereagle Thunderbird has been transformed by his enemy into a force for good by a magic thunderbolt. He is driven to find his family and to share his transformation with them. This tale is a myth about the origin of the stars and constellations. It is crafted to be an all ages tale. This is an original tale that draws inspiration from Mesoamerican and Native American mythology and combines it with superheroes.
