In the book Different but Identical the author depicts the lives of little boys and girls that are unique, but despite those differences are able to befriend one another. The beautiful illustrations in the book were done by the author's adolescent daughter. This book is meant to prove that no matter how different people are, they can still discover similarities within one another and most importantly, embrace those differences. This children's book will certainly boost any child's self-esteem. A must read that describes the essence of friendship and the joy of being different.
