  • Armani the Horse and Friends

    Catherine White

Paperback (Strategic Book Publishing & Rights Agency, LLC, May 22, 2014)
Armani the Horse and Friends starts with the rescue and rehabilitation of a race horse. It then tells the story of the horse's life and about all her animal friends. Armani will become very special, as readers learn just how important love is to animals. Though the book ends at Christmas, there is another book to follow. A sequel titled The Christmas Story is in the works. Explains the author, "I was motivated to write this book to try and tell children that sometimes life is hard and cruel, but if you look, you will find love. There is so much going on that we may forget to notice." She adds, "Sometimes life is hard and cruel, but it doesn't mean it's your fault. And it doesn't matter who looks after you, as long as your have love in your life." As an Army brat, Catherine White has lived in Hong Kong, Spain, and now in Lincolnshire, England. Her special joy comes from working with and looking after animals. She hopes her books will help provide care for even more animals. "We sponsored our first guide dog for the blind in 2013, and hope to sponsor many more over the coming years." Publisher's website: http://sbprabooks.com/CatherineWhite
