Two small boys are trapped in Nazi Germany for the duration of the war. Although they have British citizenship, they are certified pure Aryans, and enrolled into the JungVolk, then later, pressed into the Hitler Youth. Their training enables them to escape and thrive in the wilderness of a remote alpine valley; but nothing prepares them for the nightmare of surviving the winter in Munich, hunted as outlaws by the SS, while the order of the third Reich comes crumbling down around them. The story of the incredible cunning, fellowship and determination that carries them through an impossible ordeal. A true story that had to be told, that has to be relived, and that is very hard to believe. A seat of the pants experience of survival under one of the most brutal criminal regimes of all time.
