In Eden Cavalleri’s world, zoos don’t exist. The Anthros do: a twisted place where cybernetics come to gawk at humans imprisoned behind glass. The machines have taken over the world above ground, and they intend to exterminate or imprison what’s left of the human race. Eden’s job as a runner is simple: survive long enough to bring back much needed supplies to the other humans hiding in tunnels beneath the city. But after a botched supply run lands her under the glass domes as a zoo exhibit, her mission changes. Now, she has to learn to save herself instead of everyone else. A prisoner and lab rat, Eden is subjected to nightmarish and excruciating experiments at the hands of the machines. Their end goal is clear: turn her into one of them. Escaping seems impossible, unless she places her trust in the hands of her exhibit mate, a strange boy who was born within the zoo. If the machines succeed, though, Eden will be forced to hunt down other humans—even her own family. She’s used to running and hiding from her problems, but when the decision is made to face them head on, Eden learns that pride and confidence aren’t always good attributes to have. Trusting others may be her hamartia, and the price she pays for her freedom will be life-altering.

  • Detective Blue and The Missing Pencil: Children Detective Stories, kids Mystery, Toddler Puzzles, baby friendly, nursery books, all ages, free cartoons ... fairytale princess picture book, ebook

    Bry Johnson

    language (, May 9, 2020)
There once was a girl detective called Blue, who lived in a huge kettle house in the tiny village of Clapham. This children’s detective picture book was written with a great deal of imagination. It makes allot of literary sense to children. It is well illustrated and easy to follow. You will find your child quickly picking up the grammar and rich literary words that make up the book. The story is about a girl detective who goes in search of her precious missing pencil. It reflects on traditional methods of investigating crime. It’s a puzzle that had to be unlocked by a child and mostly a female. This family masterpiece broadens the horizon of children and gives them a great sense of purpose. In many ways, the book is funny, adventurous and cleverly written to meet the taste of kids. As usual when a crime is committed, it draws all sorts of suspicions. Detective Blue looked at the possibility that polite Mr Cow may have borrowed the pencil, or perhaps baby Mr goat who cries whole day. Or maybe it’s weak and lazy Mr lamb. Do have fun with it and continue reading my books. Please Stay Safe and do REVIEW my books if you can!. The Next Book in the the searies is Detective BLUE and The Kind Prince.
