The main protagonists a giant is a giant squirrel called Hector. There is a mixture of animal and human characters involved in a struggle for survival. This involves the administration and protection of Pax Wood their home. Many of the escapades arise from interaction between the characters, good and evil. There are a number of characters human and animal involved in the action. A war is fought, rescues mad and a social agenda executed.
