At her trial, Mary tells the truth, maintaining her innocence in spite of great pressure. Convicted as thief and accomplice, Mary and her father begin their sentence for the crime. • Anselmo

    Christoph von Schmid

eBook (Catoblepas Press, Jan. 27, 2017)
Anselmo is a classic tale written by the father of children's literature, Christoph von Schmid (1768-1854). He was a priest, teacher and writer who created stories to inspire children with Christian faith and values. They were extremely popular, being translated into dozens of languages and are an important part of literature and religious educational history. Anslemo was first published in the United States in 1848. Until I created this copy, the only surviving versions seemed to be in rare antique books such as the first edition I painstakingly transcribed.
