    Peabody Pigeon, Sneaky Snake, and Nutsy Squirrel accompany Brutus Lion and other zoo animals who have decided to break out and see what life was like on the city streets.Alley Cat has told them food was plentiful and easy to get, but the animals needed more food than was available in the garbage cans Alley Cat showed them. They go in search of the circus train which would have an adequate food supply, but it has left the train station. Prudish Pig is ready to faint from hunger when Nutsy shows her and the other animals how to dance, so people will throw them food in the train station.Grady the zoo keeper arrives with the police to bring the animals home. They have a parade back to the zoo, singing, "There's No Place Like Home," for a happy ending.

    The Easter Bunny brings a puppy to 4 little girls instead of colored eggs. They name her Missy and she finds Grandma in the witches cottage after grandma gots lost in the woods. Grandma gives Missy the power of speech and Missy sings while Grandma plays the piano.The wicked witch appears and tells Grandma and the girls she tricked them into coming to her house, but Grandpa rushes in. The witch puts a spell on him so he'd help her. Missy creates a magig rainbow that will ward off any evil spells the witch may cast.The witch tells Grandpa he can have all of the gold at the end of the rainbow so he'll take it away and the rainbow will collapse.Missy changes the witch into a loving bunny so she can marry the Easter Bunny who had been looking for a wife.

Grady, the zookeeper finds the disappointed animals and they march in a parade, back to the zoo. They all sing, "No Place Like Home," when they arrive.
