  • Mary Lou and the Queen Mary 2

    Joan J Curley

Paperback (Joan Curley, Oct. 21, 2015)
From the Author: I decided to write this story for young people because I believe that a sense of adventure is a healthy part of growing up. Inquiry into travel, if only by reading a book, is good for the mind. It makes a child aware of other places and activities. Travel by ship is a good way for families to experience other locations and cultures. The sense of adventure thrives on a ship. There are many things to explore on board as well as on land when visiting different ports. I used the setting of the Queen Mary 2 because of the different destinations and the marvelous decorative interior and superior facilities. I try to encourage story book reading as a learning process for young children. I believe this exposure to books challenges them to dream, visualize and explore their thoughts and ideas.
