Middle school was never so wacky and scary!Try a sample of Firebike and I think you will have trouble not looking to turn the next page! The room came to life! Everything began moving! Then, I swear, my heart stopped! The Quetzal bird on the emperor’s shoulder threw its head back and let out the most hideous laugh we had ever heard. It sent shudders all through me!Then, even worse, the emperor put his head back and laughed the same way. I could hardly get a breath out. My legs had trouble holding me up. I wanted to run, but I was frozen in place. My eyes were locked on the eyes of Fire. He gave a gruesome smile and ripped the huge diamond out of his crown. He spit on it and set it on fire, then hurled the flaming jewel right at us!Chicago screamed, “He wants to kill us! Duck!” We fell to the floor, but it was too late. The jewel hit us, and we were covered with flames! This humorous, tween ghost story will delight you and your kids. Wogs and Chicago meet Fire, a fantastic new kid in Creekville Middle School. Fire has amazing powers that cause quite a stir in the school and the town of Creekville. Cord and his gang try to show Fire who is boss during a frightening bike race at the old highway out of town. There are many questions to be answered: Is Fire's hand haunted? Does he have mystical powers? What is really going on over the doughnut shop? The ending will leave you with many other questions. Also, check out our other ebooks: Scrambled Babies, a romantic comedy, Dolly Recycles, a romantic comedy, and 100 Incredibly Short Plays, Volume I, a new look at stage plays—satire, humor, theater of absurd. Finally, we, as former teachers have written a great help to new college students--Surviving Your 1st Year of College.
