With Instagram, YouTube, and Snapchat being an avenue to fame, a young group of teenage girls makes the decision to use this avenue to put their talent on the map. Deja King, Trenise Hall, and Shauna Easley create a persona that makes them the most popular clique in the Bay Area and at their high school Paradise Academy High. Using their talent of fashion, hair, and makeup, the girls create a YouTube channel, The Gonnabe's, which quickly attracts 10,000 subscribers and a lot of attention. The girls love the attention they're getting. While their social media fame is rising, the girls still have their issues with their home life. Deja King is the quiet, yet sassy hairstylist known for rocking her signature braids. Although Deja is fly as ever, her braces make her a little awkward around the boys and it doesn’t help that she's a late bloomer. Trenise Hall is outgoing, funny and makes sure she’s always popping. The boy crazy, fly girl has more issues than a magazine but she's fun and loves her friends. Shauna Easley is strong, outspoken and bossy. She’s a little uptight but wants to have fun, she just doesn’t know how. Between navigating the halls of Paradise Academy High, dealing with family drama, and trying to be the new baddies on campus, Deja, Trenise, and Shauna have a lot to learn about being a teenager. And they’re about to find out. Follow the journey as The Gonnabe’s discover who they are during their freshman year of high school.
