  • Two Spheres: The Fourth Expedition

    Jake Taylor

    Paperback (TT&T Publishers, March 19, 2018)
The Fourth Expedition begins when Ada reveals to her fellow cadets that she and Erlakee will share a room at the clinic where she is receiving Pevasy treatments. Later, the cadets are informed of the objectives of the mission: Ensure that the damage suffered by AquaSoil will not impede the development of vegetation; determine the fate of its two moons, and measure the exact orbit of AquaSoil around its star.During their trip to AquaSoil, the cadets visit Veradrix, a planet with a toxic and explosive atmosphere and many mysteries that hide puzzling messages, one said: “Listen to the fallen leaves as rustled by the breeze.”They obtain two ‘exclusive’ powers before their next stop, which is planet Rensekal. There, they meet General Colpan and learn escape maneuvers. Colpan gives them whistles that produce Top Priority Signals. Two major developments take place while the cadets travel to AquaSoil: First, Lieutenant-Generals Yalert and Dirah (enemies of the Empire) continue on their mission to catch the object ejected from the Audacious during a previous expedition. And second, a ‘secret’ gathering takes place where a mysterious being named Lord Uzbel reveals himself as the head of a major conspiracy against Annur’s empire. A female agent by the name of Randora will help Erlakee to create havoc on AquaSoil.D’Nor and Kuln reveal to the cadets the existence of life-infusors and life-amplifiers onboard the Audacious that are required to seed the planet. The cadets visit planet Tregf where they practice ways of dropping the infusors and amplifiers in preparation for doing it on AquaSoil. During their return trip the explorers run into a spaceship adrift in space. The moment they enter the Eanono Wormhole on their way back, Lord Uzbel sends a message to Randora ordering her to start the mayhem together with Erlakee. The cadets begin to question the reasons for their missions thinking that there will be a great struggle in the future and regret not having protected AquaSoil properly. They now think that their enemies will attack the planet; they send sentinels to keep an eye on AquaSoil. The Fourth Expedition ends when the system informs the cadets that their sentinels were cunningly deflected…

  • Rhymes for the Nursery

    Jane Taylor

Paperback (Forgotten Books, June 9, 2012)
In the simple title of Rhymes for theN ursery, the pretensions of this, little volume are fully explained. In theN ursery they are designed to circulate, and within its sanctuary walls the writers claim shelter from the eye of critidsm; though, should they appear to have admitted any sentiment injudicious, erroneous, or dangerous, they ask not such an indulgence. It has been questioned by authority they respect, whether ideas adapted to the comprehension of infancy admit the restrictions of rhyme and metre? With humility, therefore, the present attempt has been made: should it, however, in any degree prove successful, the writers must certainly acknowledge themselves indebted rather to the plainness of prose, than to the decorations of poetry.(Typographical errors above are due to OCR software and don't occur in the book.)About the Publisher Forgotten Books is a publisher of historical writings, such as: Philosophy, Classics, Science, Religion, History, Folklore and Mythology.Forgotten Books' Classic Reprint Series utilizes the latest technology to regenerate facsimiles of historically important writings. • Prissy Little Chloe: Terrier Trouble: Funny Action Adventure Cartoon Novel

    Jaden Taylor

Paperback (CreateSpace Independent Publishing Platform, Feb. 17, 2016)
FREE Audiobook Inside! The fluffy little Chloe loves to cuddle like a warm, cozy blanket (only it’s summertime, so it’s less comfortable than it sounds) as a rabbit cheerfully hops through the garden … When does that happen? This is great! Save maybe sticking to my lounge chair. Ah, I see. When does that happen. Here she goes in 3, 2 … Welcome another very different kind of dog book. I’ll say it again, this is not some basic, made-up “Dan and his Dog” book written for preschoolers. My dog turned out to be the opposite of “puppy development”. She behaved a little better when we first got her, as I tell the whole thing in my red journal I called Prissy Little Chloe: Time of the Year. Now that we got that out of the way, Prissy Little Chloe: Time of the Year is a Bestselling dog cartoon novel about my blonde Yorkie Chloe and all the trouble she gets herself into! This book in the series centers on how Chloe always wants to be the center of attention; she makes up her own rules everyday—and gets herself into a (literal!) rut running through the neighborhood—setting me on a (literal!) wild goose chase, every single day, without fail. She slips through the gate in the yard or runs through the door when she gets the chance and then runs across the street into peoples' backyard, homes ... or into their car. Chloe is a mischievous little puppy, as troublesome as she is precious. Come and see what she's been up to in these funny, oddball days of trying to handle this little golden Yorkie pup! From hilarious, to adorable - this cartoon novel is perfect to read together as a read-aloud or a first novel for junior readers to open all on their own! "Prissy Little Chloe is a humorous, helpful read for any youngsters who want a puppy of their own. It introduces children to the responsibilities of caring for a dog as well as the purely fun parts of dog ownership. Kids will enjoy the author's cartoon-like drawings of Chloe and the author's family, and the book even includes a chapter titled "How to Draw Chloe & Blue Bear in 5 Steps" for kids to try out their own drawing skills." Jim Chambers #3 Amazon Hall of Fame Top Reviewer Check out Prissy Little Chloe: Time of the Year for how I end up with a rambunctious little troublemaker for Christmas, after four years of begging for a puppy and her evolution from nice to naughty over the course of a few days! Paperback (CreateSpace Independent Publishing Platform, Dec. 26, 2015)
Prissy Little Chloe: Time of the Year - Puppy Action-Adventure Cartoon Novel Welcome to a very different kind of dog book. For starters, this is not some made-up "say 'd' for 'dog'" book written for preschoolers. My dog seriously has it in for me! At first she's all nipping and playing cute little chasing games with her puppy toy collection - then an hour later, when I try to teach her new tricks with little treats on the puppy's first Christmas, I realize there's no internet search that could do justice to raising, training, dealing with and trying to control this troublesome terrier! Prissy Little Chloe is a Bestselling, my-first-puppy cartoon book series about a naughty Yorkie puppy and all the trouble she gets herself into! This Yorkie puppy book in the series Prissy Little Chloe: Time of the Year centers on how I ended up with a rambunctious little troublemaker, after four years of begging for a puppy for my birthday and a puppy for Christmas - obsessing over "puppy images", "puppy photos", "puppies for sale" and "puppy breeds" like Malteses, Chihuahuas and Yorkies (see what I mean? Chloe always wants to be the center of attention; she makes up her own rules everyday - and gets herself into problems running through the neighborhood - setting me on a (literal!) wild goose chase, every single day, without fail.
