  • I'm So Over Fairies

    James Smith, Alice Smith

    Hardcover (Orion Children's Books, March 1, 2007)
Not everyone loves fairies—here's a witty, tongue-in cheek look at a day in the life of fairy folk from someone who's not so keen on Tinkerbell & Co. Fed up with all that frilly fairy fuss? Had an overdose of wonderful wishes, waving wands, and wispy wings? I'm So Over Fairies casts a squinty eye on a day in the life of fairies, as they faff around from dawn to dusk. Really, we can't stand them!

  • A Wild and Hairy Adventure: The Clan Wars Begin

    Jamie Smith

Paperback (CreateSpace Independent Publishing Platform, Sept. 19, 2015)
Some of us know of the wee Scottish creature called the haggis. Some of us know that they are hairy wee things with one leg longer than the other to help them run round the hills all day long. Most of us don't know about the history of the haggis though and how it had to come through some dark days before it emerged as the fun-loving, half-daft creature we know and love today. In this historically inaccurate tale, we get a chance to remember those clan wars and follow two lovers who manage to break free. A tale of love conquering all, (with the help of a wise druid), and perhaps a lesson or two to learn from the hairy wee dafties.
