  • GO FOR IT

    Clement James

Paperback (Independently published, June 28, 2020)
Everyone who did remarkably well in history went beyond their ordinary effort to do the extraordinary. We are required to put in more effort into any project before us if only we can give ourselves target it will become our drive. You and I are meeting at the top. This reminds me, that each time I go to the mountain to pray, I must put more energy to work until I get to the top. In other words, energy or strength required in walking through a plain ground is different from the one needed on the mountain. We are framed in our mother’s womb by God, I believe He could not have formed you in your mother’s womb without abilities and potentials. Each of us can do better than what we are doing today! For example, every brand-new car has a Speedometer of 220 or 240 but none of us could get to 220 or 240. Immediately we drive our car to 180 or 200 we will discover that the more weight our car loses on the ground. Our life is likened to our car’s speedometer until we stretch our potentials to the limit, we will have no relevance. Don’t think you can never go far in life but always believe you have not achieved anything yet, these mentalities will keep in us the drive to push further in our pursuits. Determination brings reformation and reformation leads to undeniable achievement. If you despise the day of small things you shall not see the day of greater things. So many of us despise what we have but desire what we don’t have, oftentimes neglecting the precious virtues in us. If only we could water the seed with prayers we could have a better harvest. How miserable is it going to be if after you have planted your seed you left it wishing that your fellow’s field is yours. Not everybody achieves a financial breakthrough with millions of dollars but most greatness starts with little. Don’t despise small things. Faithfulness with small things brings huge rewards. God is our King, He is watching you if you will be faithful in the small things.Don’t wait for a big breakthrough to happen out of nowhere, start small. A big breakthrough doesn’t come to people who wait for it. It comes out of faithfulness in little things that have become our daily routine, and even menial things that are not glamorous or exciting. The big breakthrough comes out of being faithful with little things. There are many plans in the heart of man, but many of those plans died in the plane of wishes, there are many good things we desire to have, and it is not that many of them are against the will of God. Some of those desires were placed in our thoughts by the Holy Spirit, Ps 37:4;Delight thyself also in the Lord; and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart. KJV. If they survive beyond the process of just wishes then the kingdom of God, ourselves, and humanity at large will be blessed as a result of those godly desires. But we are allowing opportunities to slip us by. The scriptures according to Ps 68:19 says;Blessed be the Lord, Who daily loads us with benefits, The God of our salvation! NKJV.If God has been loading us daily with benefits which can also mean opportunities then it means that some of those godly desires were put in our hearts by God. The problem of many is that they don’t recognize opportunities when they see one, and for many who recognizes these opportunities in the form of desires they do not know how to go about it, to see it come to fulfillment. Hence if God has been opening doors of opportunities for us through some of these godly desires then we should start learning to maximize them so that it would not be said of us that we came to this world and we made little or no impact. Many have died in penury because they have failed to summon the courage to pursue the dreams in forms of desires that God has inspired in them, one thing we will have to learn while following God is the act of flexibility and largeness of heart because, without these, we might miss God.
  • UNDERSTANDING YOUR POSITION

    CLEMENT JAMES

    eBook (, Dec. 7, 2017)
Understanding Your Position INTRODUCTION. There is a lot of disorderliness in this age, and there are lot of things taking people’s time and attention, and most importantly, there are situations that people have allowed to define them, instead of allowing themselves, to be called what God has called them. Many are living in our world today, who have no understanding of where God has placed them, which will make me bring our attention to some verses of the scripture where God asked certain people questions like, “Where are you?” and “what are you doing here?” Genesis 3:9(NIV); But the Lord God called to the man, “where are you?” 1Kings 19:13(NIV); When Elijah heard it, he pulled his cloak over his face and went out and stood at the mouth of the cave; Then a voice said to him, “ what are you doing here, Elijah?” These two important questions were questions that God asked both Adam and Elijah himself, which is an indication that God had placed them somewhere, but God could not find them at their post or garrison. Often times, God has found many of us guilty of defaulting in our position, and God is asking many of us these same questions today. Understanding Your Position The above questions implies that he had placed them at a certain position and he doesn’t expect them to be found wanton or found operating below the accepted standards that is required of such position. For Adam, God had placed him in a position of authority and dominion, in fact as far as God is concerned Adam is god on the earth, as such he could legislate on behalf of God, and nothing or no creature was to question his authority. But when God came to visit them, it is going to be very easy for us to assume that God was looking for them in the garden, but the question implies much more than that, because such assumptions would be an insult on God’s omnipresence. God was simply telling Adam, you are no longer in the exalted position where I have placed you, I am seeing a fallen man. I hope it has occurred to majority of us especially we Christians and the body of Christ in general that we are gradually losing our authority and we have left our rightful place, we are not acting effectively as the salt of the earth. Think about these, we have left governance in the hands of corrupt men, musicians and celebrities are the ones giving us a parameter to define what success is. The so called role models today are people whose lives are haphazard and Understanding Your Position bizarre. Hence it is important that we understand certain things about our God given positions. Let’s consider the meaning of the word position; Genesis 40:13(KJV); yet within three days shall Pharoah lift up thine head, and restore thee unto thy PLACE…; (NIV) within three days Pharoah will lift up your head and restore you to your POSITION…; The KJV bible made no express mention of the word position, but the word place as used in Genesis 40:13 can be used as a substitute. This very word is translated as kane in the Hebrew translation and it means base, pedestal, estate and office. Our position is our God given office, and the bible interestingly uses the phrase In Christin many passages of the scripture. Adam lost the kingly and priestly position that God gave him, but Jesus Christ came to restore us to that position. Now the bible call us a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a peculiar people, a different breed of individuals called forth to show the praise of him that has called us. We have to understand the terminology in Christ in him we have an eternally secure position, because God hath highly exalted Understanding Your Position him above all powers, kingdoms, thrones, entities, bodies both terrestrial and celestial. Christ Christ means the anointed one, but in a deeper sense, it means the very likeness of God and his possibilities resident in an entity Christ means the fellowship of the Godhead in a man. That man was named Jesus.
