    A book designed with split pages so that animals can be put together with different tops and bottoms, and also enabling them to have a corresponding mixed up name eg an animal made of half cow half elephant, suddenly has the name cophant, the animal that has a top half rhinocerous, and bottom half tortoise, not only is formed in a picture, but is accompanied by the name rhinotoise. On the opposite page it also has descriptions, that change to 'half and half' descriptions for the 'newly produced' animal.
