Torp the Playful Little Dragon. A story of friendship, based on a baby dragon gargoyle that can be found at Thorpe Parish Church, Thorpe St Andrew, Norwich, England. (The ceramic gargoyle was also created by the author, illustrator and ceramicist Rachael Butler) A series of stories about Torp the dragon and his lovable animal friends; Old Cat, Grumpy Owl, Fox and Miss Mouse. Some people say they have seen dragons, keeping guard, at the church by the river. It is said that there is even a baby dragon, who can be found by the luckiest of children, if they look really hard.
