At the same time, they learn about time zone changes and why it is still light at 9PM in Britain in the summer! The underlying goal of the book is to relieve anxiety children may feel about international travel, history and cultural diversity, while giving them something fun to read. The author is a retired teacher with 7 grandchildren aged 7-11, who have given it their stamp of approval!
