āNanna-Sal,ā yelled Jack, diving to her aid. As he reached her side, Blood-Eye's head snapped up, his eyes burning right into Jack's own eyes. For a moment that seemed like an eternity, they were locked together in mutual loathing. The Sasquatch sneered as though the devil had taken hold of him. Jack quickly slipped his hand into his pocket without breaking the stare. In a flash, he whipped out something metallic that glistened in the fading daylight. He slammed it down hard towards Blood-Eye's hand that still held Nanna-Sal's ankle. He lent backwards to reveal Uncle John's new penknife, buried to the hilt, deep in the forearm of the Sasquatch. Hot red blood splashed out and melted into the snow. The monster released his grip on Nanna-Sal's leg. The angry scream that Blood-Eye let rip would have shattered glass. Jack had sealed his own fate; the Sasquatch was going to slaughter him.Jack and Oliver Turner, 12-year-old twins, set out with their intrepid grandmother Nanna-Sal in search of their father. From the hills of Wales to the Rocky Mountains of Canada, the trio, along with their guide, Didier Thoreau, and an uncle they barely know, encounter not just one Bigfoot but two tribes of Bigfoot locked in a brutal war. And that's when thing start to get really strange...This is the first book, in a series of six, as the twins and Nanna-Sal uncover an incredible secret that will tear open the very fabric of reality.Look out for Myth Watch: DRAGON, coming soon.
