    After a heavy storm, a girl went to check on her pet Egg and the sight she met was very disturbing. She found that the place where she kept her egg had been covered with leaves and animals. She became worried and feared for the safety of her egg. “Oh my Egg, Oh my Egg,” she cried as she looked at the pile covering the egg and wonder what had happened to her Egg. She couldn’t see her Egg through the clutter surrounding the Egg. In fact, the more she looked the less she saw as tears ran down her eyes. At first, she was scared and kept crying, "Oh my Egg, Oh My Egg." Then, she got mad and thought, and “What should I do?” She scanned her environment and grabbed the closet object to her in an attempt to scare the animals and reach her egg. Her courageous attempt lead to the fleeing of the animals that surrounded the egg. Read the book to find out the chain reactions that lead to the crushing of Egg. What she saw on closer look will blow your mind. Her decision to act in this story is admirable, but was it enough to make a difference to the fate of the Egg.
