Memoir of the 1960 lunch counter demonstrations that lead to Galveston becoming the first city in the South to desegregate its public facilities. I was the sixteen year Afro American high school student who organized and lead the demonstration.
Text and illustrations describe each phase of a lobster's life and discuss the detrimental effect of overfishing on the lobster population and what is being done to counter the problem.
