My story titled, Under The Wishing Well is a tale about a house cat's first time outside on her own. Her name is Dewster and her short adventure to the outdoors causes quite a stir with her friends, Baxter the dog and Chippy the chipmunk. Dewster, her friends, and the children that read this story learn a valuable lesson along the way, plus the true meaning of friendship. After Dewster is accidentally locked outside she finds shelter through a secret tunnel that leads into Chippy's house that is built under the wishing well. Baxter comes up with an idea that helps Dewster get back inside the house. Baxter can't figure out where his idea came from, but Dewster and Chippy do. After all, Chippy does live under a wishing well….

Toboggan Wax is the enchanted story of a young boy who goes to live with his uncle, in his secluded mountain valley. Snow lay on the ground just about all year long, and their main mode of transportation is by horse and sleigh or toboggan. During a severe snow storm a strange visitor knocks on the cabin door, and when he goes he doesn't even leave a footprint in the snow.

Synopsis: Attack at The Giant Oak TreeThe Giant Oak Tree is home to numerous animals, and the eldest raccoon is in charge of all that happens there. The animals loved living in the tree, and got along with each other perfectly. Mr. Raccoon lived inside the hollowed - out tree, and the birds roosted on its high branches. Even the squirrels lived quite comfortably in their nests made of leaves.But Honey Bees move into the small hole at the top of the giant oak, and they are soon becoming an un - welcomed neighbor. The bees were a noisy-bunch. They buzzed in and out of the hole all day long, and at night their constant buzzing vibrated the entire tree, keeping everyone awake. After several days of putting up with the bees the animals decide to take a vote, agreeing the pesky bees must leave. The queen bee—Queen Lilly--overhears their vote and tells the animals they will leave. Soon after the meeting strange growls are heard from the bushes surrounding the oak tree, sending the animals scurrying up to the safety of its huge branches. But suddenly the animals realize junior the squirrel is still on the ground, hiding in a small bush. The animals in the tree shout for Junior to climb, but it’s too late. Coyotes are making the growling sound and soon have junior surrounded. Before the bees leave the Queen’s daughter—Baby Bee--stops by to say good bye to her friend Junior Squirrel. Baby Bee finds out her friend is in trouble with the coyotes, and asks her mother to help him. The queen bee sends a signal to the guard bee at the top of the tree, and suddenly thousands of bees began flying out of the hole. Paddle Tail's First Day at School is the continuing story about the adorable little beaver born without a tail, but Paddle Tail - the main character in the stories - learns, and so will all children that it's okay to be different. Paddle Tail can't wait for the first day at school, he is truly excited, until some of the older kids at the beaver lake give him something to worry about.

My three holiday stories are sure to delight—Mom and Dad—children of all ages.Nicholas always felt someday he would do great things, but he never expected it to be so special. He always loved working with his hands—building things of all kind. He, especially, enjoyed making toys for the children in town. He even fixed broken toys for the children they would drop off from town. Nicholas also loved working with all the different animals on his pa’s farm. If one would get sick he would stay up all night tending to it.
