Although the details about Hurricane Harvey and many of the physical locations are real, the story centers around the fictional life of Paul, who is totally reliant upon his cell phone, the internet, and his jeep. He enjoys spending as much time as possible on the beach in Port Aransas, just 15 minutes away, as well as his much-loved online gaming world. Life as he knows it is about to be turned upside down. Follow along with Paul as he rides out the storm with Matt (a new friend) and Eli (a homeless man). Along the way, Matt’s wife, Jen, joins them, as well as Sarah, who quickly becomes a good friend to Paul.
