    HARRY GRAHAM

Hardcover (PAST TIMES, March 15, 1997)
Collection of verses written by Englishman Harry Graham while he was in the army serving in the Boer War. Under a pseudonym, Col D Streamer, these rhymes were first published in 1899. The author himself recommends that his collection is only for "children of maturer years, from seventeen to ninety-nine". A remarkable example of peculiar English type of nonsense.
