  • What If... Zombies Were Nice: Chocolate and Oranges

    S. Elizabeth

    Paperback (AuthorHouse, March 18, 2014)
The author and illustrator, of What if...ZOMBIES Were Nice, is releasing each book as a chapter ultimately building toward a grand finale. The books are written using adolescent grunge language and humor. Short politics and actual science experiments are the nucleus within the pages of each book. Chocolate and Oranges is the first chapter of What if...ZOMBIES Were Nice. In this chapter you will find that The Great Panic Po of 2020 was something no one was ever prepared for. Zombies that didn't turn into a big black puddle of goop were taken to a secret location, by the military, where the trials of modification took place. Many years passed, and the secret decision for 'reintegration' occurred. The first zombie family released, into living society was placed in Texas, where a freaky friendship developed between a zombie boy and two bored eccentric children. As the trio's bond gets stronger, they make simple discoveries about themselves and learn more about The Great Panic Po of 2020. Stink, rot, and science string them together as they manage to find a formula that might keep their friend from falling apart!

Excerpt from Christopher and ColumbusThe gulls, circling white against the gloomy sky over the rubbish that floated on the Mersey, made them feel extraordinarily forlorn. Empty boxes, bits of straw, orange-peel, a variety of dismal dirtiness lay about on the sullen water; England was slipping away, England, their mother's country, the country of their dreams ever since they could remember - and the St. Luke with a loud screech had suddenly stopped.Neither of them could help jumping a little at that and getting an inch closer together beneath the rug. Surely it wasn't a submarine already?About the PublisherForgotten Books publishes hundreds of thousands of rare and classic books. Hardcover (Xulon Press, Nov. 17, 2010)
Have you ever taken a trip or attended an event you wished would never end? In The Farewell, you will understand that such a thing is possible. Join Victoria as, once again, she leads us into new and exciting Kingdom truths. Together we will learn that there are always lessons to be learned, secrets to be shared, and new adventures to explore. When you are embraced by the KING, anything is possible ... and a tea party with the KING never has to end! An ordained minister with AEGA Ministries Int'l., Dr. Elizabeth Foy has taught the Word of God for forty-three years. Vice President of AEGA's Women for Christ Division and an internationally featured speaker, Rev. Foy chairs AEGA's Credentialing Committee and is Director of the AEGA Executive Board. She and her husband, Ray (a member of AEGA International Council of Bishops), founded Highways & Hedges Ministries in 1996. An evangelistic teaching ministry with a world vision, Highways & Hedges supports approximately six hundred (600) children in several third world countries, a primary objective being the rescue of adolescent and pre-adolescent girls sold into child prostitution. Dr. Foy enjoys the unique honor of having served as the only female chaplain of motorcycle clubs in the southeastern U.S., logging thousands of miles ministering the Gospel to the biker community. She helped found Kairos Outside of Louisiana - a ministry to the loved ones of those incarcerated, and currently conducts regular worship services in several prisons. Dr. Elizabeth and "Bishop Ray" regularly minister at conferences, retreats, and seminars. Currently the major emphasis of their domestic ministry is hosting "The King's Tea" - a one or two day event focusing on an intimate worship experience with the King.
