  • Where Are They All Now?

    Elizabeth Ellen

    (Pegasus, July 14, 2019)
You go through life wondering where it will take you and if you're making the right decisions. This account of my early life, my most memorable days at work based on tongue-in-cheek experiences, through to retirement, captures my journey along the way. Being involved in setting up a new company from scratch with one employee right through to seeing it become a very successful company with over a hundred staff was both rewarding and mind blowing, fun along the way, but very hard work at times. The sense of achievement is always with you until the day you leave with the proud feeling of having accomplished something worthwhile with your life. When retirement finally beckons and you've reached the light at the end of the tunnel, you ask yourself, 'did I make a difference?' The answer in my case is, 'yes, I think I did', and came out of the tunnel with a smile on my face.

  • Christopher and Columbus

    Elizabeth Elizabeth

Paperback (Forgotten Books, Jan. 25, 2018)
Excerpt from Christopher and ColumbusThe gulls, circling white against the gloomy sky over the rubbish that floated on the Mersey, made them feel extraordinarily forlorn. Empty boxes, bits of straw, orange-peel, a variety of dismal dirtiness lay about on the sullen water; England was slipping away, England, their mother's country, the country of their dreams ever since they could remember - and the St. Luke with a loud screech had suddenly stopped.Neither of them could help jumping a little at that and getting an inch closer together beneath the rug. Surely it wasn't a submarine already?About the PublisherForgotten Books publishes hundreds of thousands of rare and classic books. Elizabeth Foy

Hardcover (Xulon Press, Nov. 17, 2010)
Have you ever taken a trip or attended an event you wished would never end? In The Farewell, you will understand that such a thing is possible. Join Victoria as, once again, she leads us into new and exciting Kingdom truths. Together we will learn that there are always lessons to be learned, secrets to be shared, and new adventures to explore. When you are embraced by the KING, anything is possible ... and a tea party with the KING never has to end! An ordained minister with AEGA Ministries Int'l., Dr. Elizabeth Foy has taught the Word of God for forty-three years. Vice President of AEGA's Women for Christ Division and an internationally featured speaker, Rev. Foy chairs AEGA's Credentialing Committee and is Director of the AEGA Executive Board. She and her husband, Ray (a member of AEGA International Council of Bishops), founded Highways & Hedges Ministries in 1996. An evangelistic teaching ministry with a world vision, Highways & Hedges supports approximately six hundred (600) children in several third world countries, a primary objective being the rescue of adolescent and pre-adolescent girls sold into child prostitution. Dr. Foy enjoys the unique honor of having served as the only female chaplain of motorcycle clubs in the southeastern U.S., logging thousands of miles ministering the Gospel to the biker community. She helped found Kairos Outside of Louisiana - a ministry to the loved ones of those incarcerated, and currently conducts regular worship services in several prisons. Dr. Elizabeth and "Bishop Ray" regularly minister at conferences, retreats, and seminars. Currently the major emphasis of their domestic ministry is hosting "The King's Tea" - a one or two day event focusing on an intimate worship experience with the King.

  • The Fair Moon of Bath

    Elizabeth Ellis

Paperback (Forgotten Books, Jan. 30, 2018)
Excerpt from The Fair Moon of BathMr. Timothy curtis rode slowly through the still night, and with half -seein g eyes watched the white road to the west unroll itself before him under the light of the midsummer moon. His brows were drawn together in a dark frown, and his face wore a look of deep dejection most unusual with this happy mortal. For Timothy Curtis, though hampered by the possession of what he considered a wholly inadequate income, was never one to waste time in counting his lacks. He brought to each draught of life a zest, which amply atoned for any want of savour in the cup, and deeming the possession Of a strong sword-arm, a host Of friends, and a wealthy uncle, whom Time might propitiate, sufficient riches for any man, he commonly won the smiles of Fortune by virtue of his persistent refusal to flinch at her frowns.To-night, however, Timothy's wonted happy outlook on the world was clouded. He had ridden long, for to a light purse every unnecessary halt is an extravagance; he had ridden hungry since noon for the same reason; and he had ridden in solitude owing to his whimsical preference for a journey in the cool evening rather than in the dust and heat of the day. But none of these considerations was responsi ble for the melancholy that shadowed his soul.'About the PublisherForgotten Books publishes hundreds of thousands of rare and classic books.
