Have you heard about a new book in town? I hear it’s making its way around. Read it and you will never think the same. Left Handed Warriors is the name of the game, Left Handed Warriors is your doorway to fame!I was talking to the Lord and asking Him where was the book about Him for young people, that other books out there were a slap in His face. He answered me by telling me to write it. I ended up writing the five book series ‘The Left Handed Warriors’. In I Chronicles 12:1&2, the Word says ‘That these were the men who came to David at Ziglag while he was still a fugitive from Saul the son of Kish; and they were among the mighty men, helpers of the war, armed with bows, using both the right hand and the left in hurling stones and shooting arrows with the bow. They were of Benjamin, Saul’s brethren’. Judges 20:16, ‘Among all this people there were seven hundred chosen men, lefthanded; every one could sling stones at an hair breath and not miss.’ This fascinated me and looked like a good start to the books. The children are not left handed, but have an accuracy in the spirit in prayer in hitting the mark every time and not missing. I was going to make Stephen left handed but didn’t want the book to be known for that. This book was to give God the glory in His ability to conquer every situation we encounter when we allow Him to speak to us and we obey. In the book when the children do this everything is turned for good. When they rebel it is not a good thing. I have included both scenarios. To begin with I chose a small town for the location because they are so personal. You walk to the store, animals are a common sight, everybody knows all about everybody which makes for a rich soil to harvest relationships. Like most small towns Fair Haven revolved around the square, a park like middle of town, with the grocery store and schoolhouse a close second. These small towns will often attract people who want to make the town their project for good or evil. They often believe a small town mentality will yield to their demanding ways. Fair Haven is no different. The people are experiencing a drought that will not quit. The streams, river and hope itself are drying up. The crops are at the point of no turning around, causing the farmers to seriously consider selling out. Only one thing stands between life and disastrous death. In this small town there is a power that is above all other powers. There are people being gathered in Fair Haven that hold the destiny of the town in their obedience to that power. One lives in an historical purple house on Lullaby Street. She is Boomquisha Moses, 100 years and still kicking the devil. Her husband, Herbert, has been missing for quite some time after he started working for the evil couple who are the reason for the book being written. Boomquisha never gives up on getting her husband back and the answer is in the back of the book! She is a slight lady with a soft halo of hair showcasing her wise gentle face. She drives a classic perfect condition 1968 Impala green station wagon, 350 engine and 14 inch wheels. Its vinyl seats and simple controls suit her just fine. Also the fact that she and Herbert bought it together makes it a keeper.
