Twister is a delightful story of a horse born during a tornado and his adventures. The story takes place on and around a mid-1930's era farm in Perry County, Mississippi, and was inspired by childhood memories of the author, John W. Johnston. The book measures 7.5" x 10.5", and is 79 pages with six chapters. The book is recommended for K-5 to 5th grade readers. It is beautifully and generously illustrated by Clayton Thigpen, a MississippiCollege art student. It has large print for easy reading.
