Imagine being a dog and living in a family with a mom, dad, three little girls, a grandpa, a bird and a cat. That’s my life!Hi, I'm Bogart and I am a Golden Retriever. My family calls me their dog but I prefer to think of myself as a member of the Clark family.Last year, we adopted Ginger, a very pampered and spoiled cat from the same big place I came from. My family says it’s an animal shelter. At first, Ginger and I had some major issues. However, we’ve finally reached a truce – sort of – to get along and let sleeping dogs lie, so to speak. Just a little doggie humor, folks. Just when I think it’s safe to kick back and enjoy life, I discover our little clan will soon be growing again – with more people! Oh dear! Our house is getting pretty crowded. More importantly, I wonder who will steal all the attention away from me this time? If only I could do more than just listen. How I long to speak in a human voice so I could talk to my beloved family and let them know how much they are loved.
