There are trails that wind their way through those woods and provide the setting for these adventures. Each story shares christian family values as learning lessons for our grandchildren.

This is a children's adventure series starring a child as the hero with the Henschen Hill pets. These are two of many stories with the youngster as the key characters rescuing baby animals, solving mysteries and enjoying the adventures.Here we will explore the woods and hills with the Adventurers another time. Here for your delectation is the SPECTACULAR AND RARE------------------ABANDONED by G.D. Griffiths. In spite of an eventful time on Dartmoor heath that includes flood, brush fire, foxhounds and hardhearted humans, the life of this feral she-cat is fairly tame. Her life is so eventful in this low-keyed story (sentimental only when humans enter the picture). It is most sympathetic when it appears to be a realistic, stray's eye view of life. This incident-crowded narrative achieves the instant identification with the animal heroine that pet lovers will thoroughly enjoy. This is the OVERSIZED softcover stated FIRST YEARLING EDITION FROM MARCH, 1976. Other than a name on the title page and staining from storage, the book is in excellent reading condition. There are no rips, tears, markings, etc.---and the pages and binding are tight (see photo). Check my feedback to see that I sell exactly as I describe.
