Oakie and Baby Squirrel Defeat the Wind is a cute story about a young Oak tree and a baby squirrel that meet and become the best of friends. Their bond of friendship is developed and their bravery tested as the face their fears together standing tall against the mighty wind. A subtle lesson for young readers about fear and that sometimes the act of worrying or being scared of something is worse than the thing were afraid of in the first place; the story teaches young readers to stand tall, be brave and face their fears head on.
