DMWproductionsAus.com "One of the best Wright Brothers' books out and it has zero to do with planes!"Darren Mark Wright brings to life the true story of the Wright Brothers before they became the inventors of the plane.Their journey from childhood to adulthood could only be described as the Adventures and Innovations of Orville Wright and his older brother Wilbur who had to tolerate his excitable existence. From creating a circus from dead animals to inventing a flavoursome chewing gum made of road tar and sugar; Orville was destined for greatness, even if it did cost the life of an annoying cat in the process."Most entertaining bed-time reading for parents and children alike!""Orville Wright; the original little rascal!"
  • The Game of Life

    Mark Wright

language (Xulon Press, July 10, 2016)
“The Game of Life” is a fun yet enlightening action filled VBS or Youth oriented book filled with great analogies of man’s three parts, which are body, soul, and spirit. The basketball has three parts outer covering, inner liner, and the air which is a great comparison. There is God’s team and the Devil’s team. Both want to WIN! We have a star player Jesus Christ, God the Father is the Coach, The Holy Spirit is the water, air, and ball boy, and God’s word is the referee “He’s the enforcer of the rules just like in an earthly game.” We also have cheerleaders. The opposing team has the Devil as the coach, Death as their star player, along with Time marking each second and minute. The book has 5 scenes that are easy to learn and put together for a great VBS or Youth Program. Each scene is progressive starting with Christ’s sacrifice, then our sanctification, salvation, stewardship, and last but not least our service to Him. I have also included a few memories about my mission trip to the Philippines last spring, where we had over one hundred youth and adults professed Christ as their personal savior. In addition, I have included a biography of Dr. James Naismith a wonderful Christian coach and the founder of the game of basketball. My burden for the youth was given to me many years ago and I am convinced this book along with God’s word, His Spirit, and your burdened heart can bring many to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ. God bless you and God’s Speed, time is of the essence!

  • Sound, Light and Heat

    Mark R. Wright

Hardcover (Forgotten Books, Feb. 11, 2018)
Excerpt from Sound, Light and HeatThe experiments demand no expensive apparatus; the aim has been to avoid elaborate instruments; descriptions of the apparatus used, appear in the book or in the Appendix. Many of the engravings are copied from pieces of apparatus in use.The results obtained from the experiments make no claim to great accuracy. The student should avoid attaching to his calculations greater value than they deserve; he should consider the apparatus with which he works; it is a strong temptation to calculate to five or six places of decimals when probably not more than the first place can be relied upon. While attempts have been made to prevent the student forming notions at variance with modern theories, little Space has been given to such theories. A beginner's time is best spent in examining the facts of science.Numerous examples are given frequently throughout the work; Science has been slow in copying from Arithmetic in this matter. A large number of the examples are selected from Examination papers they include the whole of the ques tions in the elementary papers of the Science and Art Depart ment during the last nine years.About the PublisherForgotten Books publishes hundreds of thousands of rare and classic books.
