Silver - the little coin lives for a long time inside a young manâs wallet, who is about to travel around the world. In his wallet he lives together with a "defective" coin (a coin that was removed from the factory as a âmanufacturing defectâ) and taken by the young man as a âMascotâ because he beileved it would help him everywhere. just before the airplane takes off, Silver finds out that a new and foreign bills are in the wallet with them. Silver and Mascot - his good friend go on a journey around the world and discover many beautiful foreign coins, other cultures, languages and different countries, and have the best adventures and new experiences. Throughout the trip, Silver - which is a complete and perfect coin in its exterior and which need him everywhere - feels insecure, fearful, non-communicative with the foreign currencies around the world. and it is very surprising that a coin which considered as "defective" and has no real use at all, feels lucky, And loved by his owner who kisses him at every moment that matters to him in his life. Silver is dealing with the feeling of being a foreign currency in other countries ... feels "different" and does not belong for the first time in his life .. Finally, after a fascinating journey in many places, Silver finds the rest and the path to which he aspires and gets his permanent "owners" ... they have adopted him forever. The story describes the difference between the âPerfectâ and the exception that have replaced their emotions...
