It’s time I defied the stereotypical fairytale mumbo jumbo stories of witches being evil, being green, having warts, eating children and so on and so on. I’ll tell you the number one secret spell to good cookin’ is slow cookin’, which can best be achieved with a crock pot, no need for a cauldron, maybe in the days of old, but to let the steam and heat slowly cook a meal in a big pot helps soften and simmer in the spices, and truth be told you can cook anything in a crock pot, from meat to cakes, not just stews.
